柏道一書店

朋友介紹，再加上家有這本書「日常書店」，我決看它一看。它仔細介紹城中不同的二手書店。Books & Co.是其中一間，通常當我經過它時，總在23號巴士上。所以昨天下午，決定去探一探這早已動情的書店。
地方有點擠擁，因為書太多，地方不大。

本應是味道不錯的書店，四圍卻堆積大量書籍，沒有空間細想細看。書店使我彷彿進入一間屬於上一代的私人書房。高至上天花板的書架，同樣堆滿著不同的書籍，有中也有西，叫人要找本書也不容易。看時間也五點，周末沒有約人，也沒有約會，就在這裹吃晚飯，順道試試它的另一樣產品。
店員Nancy落力介紹自制紅豆冰，我隨口問有熱的嗎？她熱情地說：「我可以不落冰，甚至幫你弄熱。」她的踴躍讓我無法拒絕她的好意，就點了一份餐加熱豆水。

這是我的快樂點子：找個特別的地方餵養我內在那永遠長不大的小孩。

這將會是我的日常書店!

A secret place for a time of solitude with God is an "OFF" valve to my worldly fear, thought, desire... Think from His perspective; think about eternity!

It is a 5-day devotional plan.

Day 1 What is JOY?	This is not a worldly JOY that is an unsatisfied desire – a deep longing for God, a hungry pursuit of God’s heart.  Only through being plugged to HIM, will I want no more.   HOW? To Lewis, True Joy is the ache for something beyond this world.  Please let the Holy Spirit use this restlessness to awaken spiritual hunger. Surprised by Joy : The Shape of My Early Life Now you’ve got my feet on the life path, all radiant from the shining of your face.  Ever since you took my hand, I’m on the right way.  Psalm 16:11
Day 2 When Joy Moves Us	How to get closer to God? Jesus told us to go and pray! One simple principle : the prayer that happens in the secret place – where there is a heart-to-heart encounter between you and God. This secret place is where you bare your heart before Him and pour everything-good or bad, happy or sad, thanks, intercession and all mixed up to Him at His feet.  In turn, He draws near and shelters you with His presence in the secret place. Be still and quiet in the secrecy of this place, close my eyes, bend all my thoughts to Him wholeheartedly…  “Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.    Matthew 6:6
Day 3 The Secret Place	A paradox:- The more time I spend in the cramped secret place, the greater spaciousness and peace I feel in my spirit! Make room with God for simply fellowship in my prayers! Solitude with God! 帶個心去跟祂一起，不用用腦分析。 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.  For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:2-3
Day 4 Long for Him	This secret place, in other words, provides an eternal perspective that sets the tone for everything else in my life.  The time I spend in it has begun to cure my heart of fear – especially the paralysing fear of losing people or things precious to me.  The secret place makes us fearless. Take refuge in His presence and ask Him to reveal the endless goodness of Heaven.  Remember this is not MY HOME!  Then fear will lose its strangling grip on me! You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:16
Day 5 The Weight of Life	我雖然行過死蔭幽谷，也不怕遭害。因為祢與我同在。 It is Him who promises to be with me all the time. He won’t leave me alone and never puts me to work alone. He wants me to be strong, and mature. He wants me to become like Him and willingly venture down that road of transformation.  I should not judge myself or my success on how I feel at the end of my time in the secret place.  Instead I walk with faith (yes Love to Him is FAITH) that God is using all of my efforts to draw near to Him for good, even when I can’t see evidence of it! Success is simply showing up.  The moment I’ve spent time with Him is already the first step to stay alone with Him. My time in the secret place is already a success!  Dress yourself in Christ, and be up and about!    Romans 13:14

Movie day

For many years, we three go to watch movie as a festive celebration either on Christmas or New Year or Lunar New Year.

Today we watched "Collateral Beauty"  which depicts When a successful New York advertising executive suffers a great tragedy he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to Love, Time and Death.

Time? Love?Death? Three pillars intertwine with each other and also connect people.  Really?  Time is a gift... optimize it!  Death separates people...but we look it beyond, it is nothing.  Love is the greatest and concealed inside will last longer and longer.  I think.

2017 has arrived!

New Year message:- Prioritize!  

Absolutely, time is equal to all:- 24/7. 

Priority:- God--> Family. health, friendship, dream--> car, house, career --> minute matters.  It is all about time management that oriented from your prioritized schedule.  If I've put the minute matters in my 24 hour agenda, I won't have time for important things.  And I found that good management is vital to the pursuit of happiness. If I fill my time up with all trivial things like checking facebook, whatsapp, chatting, video and ??, what will happen to my Big project???  Do I have to refrain from unnecessary electronic social networking?  Just leave it for top priority things:-) relating to QT, bible reading, blogger...

I decided to go to bed at 11 p.m. and read a while and then sleep before 11:30 p.m.  This is my plan to re-organize my life time-wise.  And I decided to blogger my life in a short sentence/paragraph and help myself review where my time gone.  

On 1 Jan, we had outdoor Sunday @Shek O.   

In the evening, we celebrated mom's 87th bday @the restaurant.  But she was not very happy... maybe too tired, I think. 

I suggested we go to Macau with mom at the party.  My siblings were not too keen on it especially my eldest brother.  But he talked a lot yesterday which was rare. :-)  I must try to make it come true.

開始籌備一月主題

轉瞬間,2016 快成過去式,為使自己的快樂工程順利開展,我已經把每月主題點出如下:

重點:- 提升動力 ; 喜樂根源

要靠主常常喜樂。我再說，你們要喜樂。腓 4:4   

甚麼是我的喜樂?   朝氣勃勃，身心靈體健康，有目標有方向有心有力地享受每一天。 

首先要

1. 活出朝氣來：早睡早起；自己在家也做瑜伽。多運動。 (儘量11:30前睡覺!!記下來!!)
2. 身心寬暢，先清理自己的家。  2016年12月27日，先把自己房間和夏天衣服好好收納起來，騰出空間了，人也暢快了。起碼，返工搵到衫著 :-)  下一個目標是清理我的書桌和書櫃!  2016年12月28日，繼續清理屋內的雜物。迎接寬敞的2017年! 
3.  每周禁食一次，為了要更親近神。也藉此清理自己的腸胃。(記下感覺/發現)
4.  每月月中 (15日)整理自己的銀行戶口。 
5.  認真玩樂一下，認真愛自己，扮靚美容/為自己做一樣嘢/照顧自己的需要。
6.  尋找有趣/快樂的點子、留白(時間和空間)給自己傻一傻，鬆弛下。 (從日前看到日常書店介紹的二手書店，一間一間去走訪。先由港島區開始。首站柏道Books & Store.
7. 學一樣新嘢，開拓自己科技應用新領域，讓自己做個快樂的學生。(自學Movie Therapy!)
