40 days of LOVE by Rick Warren

Some remarkable points I should print to myself :-  
1. The first purpose of my life is to be loved by God.  Yes it is important to serve, obey, and trust him, but your first purpose is to love him.  Wow!  HE made me to love me! The reason I'm alive is because God wanted to love me.  
2. How to deal with confrontation- manner counts. Right + Rude = Wrong
3. A Church family moves me out of self-centred isolation. The local church is the classroom for learning how to get along in God's family and learn to care about others and share the experiences of others.  "If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it.  Or if one part of our body is honoured, all the other parts share its honour." (1 Cor 12:26)  To serve, to fellowship are important; to love is the most essential.
4. You are called to belong; not just believe.
5. The antidote for Loneliness is God's unfailing love. I will never be separated from His love. By chance or by choice,we may lose some loved ones. 
6. Church attender Vs Church members = consumer Vs contributor; 
7. Church is a place in reality that I love in action.  To love real people NOT ideal people.  I'm called to love imperfect sinners, just as God does.
8. If you want to grow, you need other believers. The phrase "each other" or "one another" is used more than 50 times in the NT.  We are commanded to love each other, pray for each other, encourage each other, admonish each other, greet each other, serve each other, teach each other, bear each other's burdens, forgive each other, submit to each other, be devoted to each other, and many other mutual tasks.  This is biblical membership.  See, how important to get connected to the church.
